Celina Laney

Celina Laney joined Genprex in June of 2018, and she serves as the company’s Chief of Staff. In this role, Celina is responsible for overseeing Genprex’s effectiveness by streamlining administrative procedures and organizing office operations while also coordinating with all company departments, including HR, finance and IT, as well as outside vendors and service providers, to ensure office operations and procedures are controlled and working efficiently. Prior to officially joining the Genprex team, Celina served as an executive assistant to Genprex’s Chief Executive Officer since 2010. She has more than 18 years of experience serving in various legal secretary and litigation assistant roles for several law firms across Austin and Houston. In these roles she held many responsibilities including conducting research, preparing documents for court hearings, scheduling meetings, and providing case status updates to clients, which helped play a crucial role in the firms’ successes.
