Shannon joined Genprex as Vice President of Clinical Operations in April 2020, where she is responsible for defining clinical developmental strategies, clinical protocol design, study conduct, and managing risk assessment. She brings more than 20 years of experience to the company leading international clinical operations at biotechnology companies and research institutions.
Prior to joining Genprex, Ms. Inman spent seven years leading clinical operations at Cell Medica (now Kuur Therapeutics), a clinical-stage company developing CAR-NKT cell products for different types of tumors. She led international clinical operations teams, overseeing multi-center, early phase global clinical trials. Prior to that, she held several clinical operations roles at Opexa Therapeutics, a clinical-stage company developing immunotherapies for major illnesses. At Opexa, she was responsible for managing the company’s clinical programs, including clinical trials at multiple trial sites. She has also held project manager, regulatory and data management roles at Baylor College of Medicine’s Center for Cell and Gene Therapy during the department’s inception.
Ms. Inman holds a BS in biomedical science from Texas A&M University.
